On May 1st Baltimore's Lower Dens are to release their sophomore album 'Nootropics' (pronounced No-eh-tro-pics) by way of Ribbon Music. The title is a reference to the bands interest in transhumanism (the use of technology to extend human capabilities). The first single is titled "Brains", and it kind of makes you think.
