Dan Deacon will release a new album
'America' on August 28th via Domino Records. He's sharing the first taste of the album "Lots" as a free download (above). 'America' is Deacon's follow up to 2009's 'Bromst' (one of our favourite albums of that year) and is further influenced by his Carnegie Hall debut and a film score he did for Francis Ford Coppola. If "Lots" is just the beginning then 'America' is poised to be one hell of an album.
Tracklisting is as follows:
1. Guilford Avenue Bridge 2. True Thrush 3. Lots 4. Prettyboy 5. Crash Jam 6. USA I: Is a Monster 7. USA II: The Great American Desert 8. USA III: Rail 9. USA IV: Manifest
